Education is one of the strongest pathways out of long-term poverty. This Programme Area brings together projects that help children and young people enter, continue and succeed in education.
Initiatives may include school-fee and scholarship assistance, books and stationery, uniforms, digital learning, Spoken English, learning centres, art-based education, mentoring, career guidance and support for students at risk of dropping out.
Projects should define the learner group, educational need, delivery period and measurable outcomes such as attendance, progression, learning hours, examination support or course completion.
